The Digital Media Factory has a triple bottom-line philosophy - economic sustainability, social responsibility and environmental action.  We contribute to local employment and focus on branding Santa Cruz through its media events and products.

The Factory serves as a key focal point to connect industry professionals with local resources:

• A think tank to discuss leading edge technologies, development of digital media in progress and current technology.
• Support for content development and the long-term acquisition, archiving, repurposing, distribution, and management of content.
• A highly skilled, readily available pool of experienced professionals and up-and-coming talent.

The Digital Media Factory is helping to build a digital media industry on the central coast.
